Sanpha
A note from the team

We're building the healthcare layer Morocco deserves.

Sanpha is a small team in Casablanca. We pick boring choices, ship one good thing at a time, and write to every patient who asks.

B · Mission

A country where care reaches.

In Morocco, finding a doctor, refilling a prescription, or calling an ambulance can each be its own small ordeal. Sanpha takes that work, and a lot of paper, off the patient and the provider. We want the medication to be the interesting part — everything else should feel ordinary, fast, and quiet.

This is a long, slow project. We're building the technology in the open, and the relationships in person — with doctors in clinics, pharmacists at counters, dispatchers in control rooms.

C · Context

Healthcare access in Morocco.

We didn't start with an app. We started with three problems patients and providers told us about, again and again.

At the counter

A pharmacist reviews every prescription order

  • Distance decides too much

Specialists cluster in the big cities, and a follow-up can mean a day of travel. Video and audio consultations shorten that trip to a tap — and keep in-clinic visits for when they matter.

  • Paper slows care down

Prescriptions, referrals and records still move by hand. On Sanpha, an e-prescription flows straight from the consultation to a pharmacist's review, then to your door.

  • Care should speak your language

Health is stressful enough without translating it. The app works fully in Arabic, French and English — the same care, in the words you think in.

D · Principles

Five things we won't bend on.

  1. Verified by default

Every doctor, pharmacist and ambulance partner is verified before they show up in the app.

  2. Built for trust

Phone-OTP login, encrypted records, audit logs — boring on purpose.

  3. Calm UX

Short, calm interactions. The app stays out of the way until you need it.

  4. Local first

Built in Casablanca, for Morocco — Arabic, French and English from day one.

  5. Always on

24/7 support, on-call pharmacists, and emergency ambulance dispatch.

  6. If a feature doesn't make care calmer, faster or safer, it doesn't ship.

E · Milestones

The road so far.

Short on fanfare, long on shipping. The milestones that mattered.

  1. 2023

    Sanpha is founded

A small team in Casablanca ships the first version: verified doctors, video and in-clinic booking, OTP sign-in.

  2. 2024

    Pharmacy joins the app

Prescription upload, pharmacist review and medication delivery go live — the paper stays behind.

  3. 2024

    Emergency dispatch

Ambulance SOS with live tracking launches, with five vehicle types matched to the situation.

  4. 2025

    Growing the network

More cities, more verified providers, and the same app in Arabic, French and English.
